Founded in 1988, Galaxia Footwear is a Portuguese footwear manufacturer based in Felgueiras, a city renowned for its tradition in shoemaking. With over three decades of industrial expertise, we specialize in private label production for international brands, producing both men's and women's footwear for the European market and expanding into the USA, Canada, and Africa. With a daily production capacity of approximately 500 pairs, we focus on classic moccasin constructions and traditional lasted footwear, combining technical precision with refined finishing.
Our factory develops every project from prototype and sample to the final product, applying deep technical know-how at each stage. Structured production planning ensures reliable lead times and consistent quality control — from pattern development and material sourcing to assembly and final inspection. We work closely with our clients, adapting to specific requirements while maintaining efficiency, competitiveness, and manufacturing excellence.

How It All Began
Galaxia Footwear started with the dream of Mr. Adolfo Pereira, who loved shoes from a young age. In the 1980s, he began producing footwear under a house, focusing mainly on moccasins for the Portuguese and French markets. At that time, production was around 100 pairs per day.
As demand grew, so did the factory. In 2004, operations moved to a larger facility, increasing production further. By 2010, Galaxia Footwear moved again to its own purpose-built factory, establishing specialized structural parameters for its products. The company honed its expertise in classic footwear constructions and began diversifying its European market, initially focusing on Germany and later expanding to the United Kingdom.
Today, Galaxia Footwear has a solid foundation and exports to over 20 countries across multiple continents, combining traditional craftsmanship with industrial expertise to deliver high-quality, classic footwear worldwide.
